The organisers of a charity golf day at Forest of Arden have thanked AC Lloyd for their generous support.
The Warwick-based property company sponsored the 18th hole of the Club Captain and Lady Captain’s Charity Golf Day at the Marriott Hotel and Country Club in Maxstoke Lane, Meriden.
Debbie Poynton, Lady Captain, said two Midlands charities are to benefit from the proceeds of this year’s charity golf day which helped HelpHarryHelpOthers and Mary Ann Evans Hospice.
She said: “We would like to thank AC Lloyd for generously sponsoring a hole in support of our Charity Golf Day.
“This year we have chosen two local charities that rely entirely on voluntary donations to provide the support, advice and specialist care to families affected by life limiting illness.
“Our gratitude cannot be emphasised enough and without your involvement and kindness, we would not be able to make our Charity Golf Day the success it is.”
Alistair Clark, a director at AC Lloyd, said the business was delighted to have been involved in supporting two fantastic local charities.
“We are always keen to give something back to our local community and it was great to be involved in Forest of Arden’s 18-hole charity golf day as well as sponsor the final hole,” he said.
“The day was a great success and I know HelpHarryHelpOthers and Mary Ann Evans Hospice will benefit greatly from the proceeds to help families at a time when they need their support the most.”
