Early Easter treat for young footballers

AC Lloyd has presented Easter Eggs to a junior football team it started sponsoring last year.

The chocolate goodies were presented to Lillington Juniors Under-13s Rangers following their final league match of the season.

The team, which is coached by Ross Shuter, is part of the FA Charter Standard Development Club and is also a registered charity and Nike Partner Club, and provides FA qualified coaching to boys and girls.

Darren Avern, technical director at AC Lloyd Homes, said the business was sponsoring Lillington Juniors’ kit as part of a two-year deal.

“The team has played really well this season in the Mid-Warwickshire Football League and shown good sportsmanship despite results not always going their way,” he said.

“We thought we would present them with the Easter Eggs to mark the end of another enjoyable league campaign.”

AC Lloyd’s sponsorship has helped towards buying new kits and equipment for the players and the Warwick-based business also sponsored the club’s float in the Leamington Carnival Parade last summer.
