Swinging into action for charity

AC Lloyd will be among the UK-wide property professionals swinging into action to raise funds for the chosen charity of the Savills Cheltenham office.

It is the first time the business has been involved in Savills annual golf tournament which is being staged at the Welcombe Golf Course in Stratford-upon-Avon.

As one of the main sponsors, AC Lloyd Homes’ Managing Director Alistair Clark along with Chairman Peter Beddoes, David Sercombe from Robotham Architects and Insurance Broker Frank Corrigan will be among the 18 four-ball teams taking part in the fifth annual event which this year is being held to raise funds for Cheltenham-based charity National Star College on Tuesday, September 17.

Graham Jones, Associate Director – Development at Savills, said: “Our relationship has developed over recent times with AC Lloyd as our network and geographical spread has grown. We are delighted that AC Lloyd agreed to co-sponsor this event and to be involved in our golf day for such a worthwhile cause.”

“As one of our main sponsors, they will receive a full-page advert in our brochure which is distributed to all participants and interested parties. AC Lloyd is sponsoring the 18th hole and Alistair will be presenting one of the prizes at our buffet dinner following the golf.”

Alistair said: “AC Lloyd and Savills believe it is important to support our local communities and this will be a perfect opportunity to raise money for a local charity which doesn’t have the resources of larger charities.

“I am sure it will be an enjoyable day and it is also a good chance to network with property professionals from across the UK.”
